Happiness, A Choice

I came
I am seeing
I hope to conquer
Life itself seems crazy
Life seems hard
Life is challenging
It could be sweet
It could be bitter
But I choose to be happy

Each morning
Each daytime
Each night
Comes with a unique thing
Peculiar Effect
Could make or break me
Could be discouraging
Could be encouraging
But I choose to be happy

It’s crazy though
It’s hard too
Hard to keep up with
With the chronic imperfection
The unfortunate imperfection
Which in a way
Turns a beautiful imperfection
All because
I choose to be happy

I may lose what I really love
Sure I would mourn
Sure I feel the sadness
And my mind feel a weakness
But still
With a mind of less negativity
With faith and positivity
And God’s Proximity
I choose to be happy

I presumed happiness only preceded success
or triumphs
Like Great life stories
or academic glories
Even athletic victories
But there is a twist
So I learned;
therefore to really attain success
Firstly,
I choose to be happy

There are different choices we make in life, Life changing ones, Relationship wise, career wise and otherwise. In the mist of all this, I believe that there is this Choice to be happy. Being happy is a state of mind, true there are times or situations that would seem like we just deserve to be sad but prolonging this state of mind could lead us to over think and in no time make us fall into depression, yes we may want to mourn that loved one, we may want to feel bad for that lost huge some, all these are being human and natural, but still we shouldn’t let our sad moments to lead us further into depression but before letting that to occure choose to be happy and positive.

“Smile every chance you get. Not because life has been easy, perfect, or exactly as you had anticipated, but because you choose to be happy and grateful for all the good things you do have and all the problems you know you don’t have”

“Never let a bad day make you feel like you have a bad life.”

Also we should not always have this mindset that we have to achieve something great before we become happy.. Great achievements today are as a result of having a positive mind and choosing to be happy is a step to that direction.

One thing that would really help to make this choice easier for us is our faith in God, once we believe in God that he Knows the reasons for everything that happens it becomes much easier ( Ponder on this… #1 —–> http://wp.me/p3XJdR-Z ),
we believe he is always there with us so there is no need to worry much because he has an great expected end that he wills for us if we walk in line with him.

As Christmas draws really closer let’s put on that happy and loving mood, Just that radiant smile will do with a free and faithful mind.
